Tony McCamley—also known as John A. McCamley—founder and CEO of New West Gypsum Recycling Inc. and Cloverdale Disposal, both based in Canada, died on March 16.
Described as an innovator and a visionary, McCamley was passionate about his business and his family. He started New West Gypsum Recycling over 35 years ago and has grown it into a global business with a lasting environmental impact.
His success can be attributed to his hard work and his dedication.
“Tony will be deeply and dearly missed. He will be fondly remembered for being a proud Irishman, his sense of humor and his love for his family,” New West Gypsum says in a release. “Tony was well known, respected and loved by our tenured staff, suppliers and contractors alike. We offer our greatest sympathy to all that are impacted by his passing.”
