The IFPE 2008 Technical Conference will include a new Electronic Controls Symposium to complement its Technology and Design Program, which focuses on all aspects of power transmission and motion control. The conference has issued a call for papers, with abstracts for both segments to be submitted by July 2, 2007.
The IFPE 2008 Technical Conference will be held March 12-14, 2008, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas. The conference is organized by the National Conference on Fluid Power, and paper presented will be published as the “Proceedings of the 51st National Conference on Fluid Power.”
Topic areas for conference papers include all power transmission (systems and simulation/analysis), fluid power/motion control (components and fluid power circuits), electrical and mechanical power transmission (electric motors, brakes, clutches, other components), hydraulic fluids, reliability, international standards, new materials and electronic controls.
The conference will be held in conjunction with IFPE, the International Exposition for Power Transmission, to be held March 11-15, 2008. IFPE will be collocated with ConExpo-Con/Agg 2008.
