Hyundai Construction Equipment U.S.A. (HCEUSA) has announced it is expanding its operational reach to cover all of North, Central and South America.
Effective Jan. 1, 2010, HCEUSA will be responsible for the sales, service and parts business in Central and South America for both construction equipment and forklifts. The company says it will be adding the current Central and South American dealer network and its many opportunities for expansion to its already existing network of dealers in North America. HCEUSA says it will continue its current business model of marketing, selling and servicing its construction equipment and forklifts through its dealer network, while providing additional sales, service and parts support through the home office in Elk Grove Village, Ill.
“With the current market conditions being what they are we’ve had to look at all aspects of our business,” says John Lim, president of HCEUSA. “We feel that by consolidating the resources we have here and in Korea under one roof covering all of the Americas we can provide our dealers and ultimately our customers with the highest level of quality and support possible. It’s important to us that when our customers think of product quality and support that they think of Hyundai.”
