Heil Names New GM for Parts Central

Heil Environmental, a refuse collection vehicle manufacturer based in Chattanooga, Tenn., has announced the hiring of Bill Healy as general manager of Parts Central, the company’s parts business.

Parts Central offers a range of service parts solutions for refuse collection and recycling vehicles made by Heil and other major manufacturers. Heil Certified OEM Parts and Parts Inc. Aftermarket Parts by Heil are available locally through the Parts Central network of independent dealers. Healy has overall responsibility for the Parts Central business unit.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the aftermarket parts business. Immediately prior to joining Heil, Healy spent 10 years with automotive parts retailer AutoZone. He most recently served as regional manager with full profit and loss responsibility for 91 stores in the St. Louis area.

Healy earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Florida. He is based at Heil’s corporate headquarters in Chattanooga, Tenn.
