Hartl introduces two-deck screening plant

Austrian-built HSP 3300 is used to size-classify stone and recycled materials.

Hartl Crusher, an Austrian company that specializes in crushing and screening equipment, has launched a two-deck screening plant that is plans to introduce at two upcoming construction industry trade shows.

The HSP 3300 is a mobile, compact two-deck screening plant. Hartl says it plans to introduce the HSP 3300 at the 2015 MAWEV Show, an international construction industry trade show held March 18-21 in Austria, as well as at Intermat Paris, an international equipment exhibition that takes place every three years, with the 2015 event scheduled for April 20-25 in Paris.

Hartl says the screening plant features a compact design and high screening efficiency. Georg Haberfellner, chief designer at Hartl Crusher, comments, “The main advantage lies in the screen box’s electrohydraulic drive, which provides more power than comparable pure electric drives and is also much more robust and durable. At the same time, with this drive system the speed of the screen’s rotation is continuously variable and a reversal of rotation direction is also possible.”

Haberfellner continues, “The screen box is spring mounted and thus provides the best power transfer for both screen decks. All components are high quality and are designed with component protection in mind.”

The HSP 3300 is used in natural stone processing as well as in the classification and refinement of recycled materials, the company says. The screener also is ideal for use in road construction and earthworks as well as forest road construction and excavations, according to Hartl.

The company says the screen plant expands its existing range of products as the model is a companion to the Hartl bucket crusher and bucket screener.

As a complement, Hartl says it offers conveyor belts that are electrically driven and provide a maximum discharge height of 2.5 meters. The folding mechanism guarantees easier belt changing and reduces transport dimensions to a minimum, according to the company.

The screening system, including conveyor belts, has an electrical power consumption of 14 kilowatts.
Hartl will be attending the MAWEV Show, located at Stand B8 as well as at Intermat Paris, with locations at Stand C033 E2 & E2 Paris Demo G04.
