Hagglunds Drives Makes Acquisition

Hagglunds Drives Inc. has announced the acquisition of Rineer Hydraulics Inc.

Rineer Hydraulics manufactures and sells hydraulic motors for a variety of applications, including oil and gas drilling, off-road equipment, agricultural applications, pump drives and various mobile equipment applications.

Rineer’s headquarters will remain in San Antonio, where it has about 80 employees.

“The acquisition of Rineer Hydraulics will compliment and strengthen our product offering and our position in the North American market. It will give the Hagglunds Drives group the first fully integrated manufacturing facility in the U.S., and a further expanding of our global footprint. In the future, we will be able to offer Rineer’s products on a blogal market through our strong global sales organization,” says Per Nordgren, Hagglunds Drives’ CEO.

Hagglunds Drives systems are used in a wide variety of industries, including mining and materials handling, recycling, marine, pulp and paper, rubber and plastic, sugar and building and construction.
