Family Services Inc. has announced plans to build a new office in Winston-Salem, N.C., and to make the structure the first building in North Carolina’s Triad area to be certified as a green building, according to a report in the Business Journal (Greensboro, N.C.).
The facility should be completed in early 2007 and will be the first in the region to attain the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) status, according to the report.
