The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) has awarded its Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification to the new Earth and Planetary Sciences Building on the Washington University campus in St. Louis, according to a report in The Washington Record.
The science building joins the Nidus Center for Scientific Enterprise in St. Louis County as the only LEED-certified structures in the St. Louis area, according to the report.
