Superior, Wisconsin-based Genesis Attachments LLC is displaying its new GDT 890 Razer Demolition Tool at the National Demolition Association (NDA) convention in Phoenix in late February.
Genesis says the GDT 890 fits 180,000-pound and larger excavators and features an industry-leading 64-inch jaw opening with a 62-inch jaw depth. The larger model has 13 feet of reach, “making it ideal for large, high-reach demolition projects,” states the manufacturer.
In addition to high-reach demo, the GDT series, now available in five models, is a versatile tool for jobs of different sizes and applications, including general and bridge demolition, concrete recycling, and mixed C&D processing, says Genesis.
The company says the GDT configuration’s “short, flat-top head with bolt-on bracket simplifies installation and switching between excavators.”
Users of GDT demolition tools also can select from several arrangements of reversible crushing teeth to further configure their model for optimal material processing, according to Genesis, which is an NPK Construction Equipment company.
In addition to being displayed at the NDA convention, Genesis says the new GDT 890 Razer also will be prominently featured at its 2023 ConExpo booth when the firm exhibits there March 14-18 in Las Vegas.
