Genesis Attachments, Superior, Wis., has named Cleveland-based Gibson Machinery Inc. as the first recipient of its "Dealer of the Year" award.
Mark Ramun, Genesis director of business development, made the announcement, citing both Gibson’s impressive sales volume and its commitment to providing an industry-leading level of service and support.
"While we are obviously impressed with the number of Genesis attachments Gibson sells each year, our decision to single them out for recognition is really based on far more than just volume," says Ramun. "We’ve long recognized—from personal experience and word from the field—that their organization is well-respected throughout Ohio for the way it treats its customers after the initial sale. That emphasis on service and support ensures that customer satisfaction for Genesis products remains high, which ultimately, benefits all parties involved."
Gibson Machinery’s president, Lee Gibson, says they have been a long-time proponent of Genesis attachments—primarily its line of XP Series Mobile Shears—and that has played a role in its overall success.
"We sell an awful lot into the scrap market and Genesis’ line of shears is second to none for my customers in that industry. However, scrap is a demanding environment, and support for all our equipment—not just the Genesis line—has to be able to meet those needs," Gibson says.
Genesis’ Greak Lakes Regional Manager Chuck Friedel presented Lee Gibson and Gibson Machinery with an inscribed plaque detailing its achievements.
