Gehl Co., manufacturer of Gehl and Mustang brand compact equipment for construction and agricultural applications, has broken ground on its new corporate headquarters and research and development center in
West Bend Mayor Kristine Deiss joined other community leaders and Gehl officials on April 30, 2008, for a ground breaking ceremony at the site of the $20 million corporate expansion project.
The 70,000-square-foot R&D building will be equipped with the latest in design and development technology. The facility will be used to design and test equipment.
The new two-story corporate office will incorporate an open-office concept, with large windows to infuse natural light throughout. Energy-efficient lighting will be used to enhance natural lighting.
