GBC Group Of Florida Makes Acquisition

The GBC Group of Florida announced that in a strategic move to expand its service offerings, it has acquired Specialty Waste Corp. of Jacksonville, Fla.

SWC provides customized waste characterization, logistics and disposal management services attending the destruction of non RCRA wastes such as outdated pharmaceuticals, health & beauty aids, manufacturing residues, confidential documents and miscellaneous oily and shop debris materials.

SWC holds a series of capacity agreements with waste-to-energy,

biomass energy facilities and intermediate processors in the Northeast, Midwest and southern United States.
