During the six years since the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami that led to the accident, TEPCO has been working with many partners, such as Toshiba and Hitachi, in the development of innovative robots and other technologies. Its purposes have ranged from exploration inside reactor units to water purification, and many other tasks.
Now, through a new website, TEPCO is seeking additional technology partners, for the continuing work at Fukushima, as well as to help it improve the quality of electricity production and distribution and to help conserve energy.
