Fresno Approves Plans for Transfer Station

Site to accept C&D debris, green material.

The Fresno, Calif., County Planning Commission has approved plans to build a new transfer station in the area, according to a report in the Fresno Bee (Fresno, Calif.).

 

The site of the new station is less than a mile west of an old debris site that caught fire two years ago, according to the report.

 

The Fresno Bee reports that the new site will accept construction and demolition debris, along with green materials like grass clippings and tree trimmings.
