The rapidly growing asphalt shingle recycling industry will be the focus of the fourth Asphalt Shingle Recycling Forum, the Construction Materials Recycling Association (CMRA),
The forum is set for Nov. 5-6, 2009 at the Doubletree Hotel Chicago Magnificent Mile. Presentations will cover all aspects of shingle recycling, from processing through markets for this valuable material.
The event, which is the fourth organized by the CMRA, is co-sponsored by the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association (ARMA), Owens Corning and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Other sponsors include the U.S. EPA, National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) and the National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA).
The fourth Asphalt Shingle Recycling Forum is ideal for shingle recyclers, hot mix producers, paving contractors, roofing contractors, shingle manufacturers, government highway officials, equipment vendors and C&D recyclers, the CMRA says.
