Alternative Treatment International (ATI) is seeking Platinum Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) as it plans the design and construction of its new Naples, Fla., facility.
Located in Clearwater, Fla., since 2002, ATI is a residential treatment center for alcoholism and substance abuse, psycho-emotional disorders, depression, trauma and eating disorders.
A Platinum rating is the highest certification level offered by the USGBC.
The new facility will be constructed on a 10-acre parcel of land located in Naples, Fla.
