Flip Screen Australia Pty Ltd is seeing increased interest in its line of screening and recycling attachments built for skid steers, excavators, wheel loaders, backhoes and telehandlers.
Flip Screen’s Midwest USA dealer, Joe Schmotter and Managing Director from Australia, Sam Turnbull at the Flip Screen display at the 2009 ISRI Expo in Las Vegas.
The Flip Screen is ideal in applications such as civil engineering works, mining, pipelines, roads & railways, construction & demolition, waste transfer stations, steel recycling, skip bins, landfills, councils and landscaping.

The screening attachment is essentially a two-part bucket with the same capacity as a standard earthmoving bucket, with no internal moving parts. Material is sieved out through the mesh screening chamber as the Flip Screen rotates, while larger particles are retained inside by the unique inward spiraling action. Counter rotating the bucket ejects all the remaining oversize and the whole process is achieved without any vibration or shaking of the machines.
The company reports that interest in its product line was recognizable during the recently concluded ISRI show, held in April. Since then the company is seeking to establish more dealer networks in North America, as well as in other regions of the world. At the present time Flip Screen Australia exports to 14 countries.
Flip Screen was awarded an Australian International Design Mark for its S30 Flip Screen at the International Design Awards.
The newly released E30 Flip Screen, which suits 5-10 metric ton excavators, took out the Most Innovative Product at the 2009 CivEnEx exhibition in Sydney.
