Finlay, a Northern Ireland-based producer of mobile crushing, screening and conveying equipment, has introduced two new inclined screens: the Finlay 693 and Finlay 694.

The Terex Corp. brand calls the two models part of the next evolution in its screening portfolio. The revamped models also represent a return to Finlay’s original naming convention, replacing the 693+ and 694+ models.

Both models feature high-energy screen boxes designed to process materials in quarrying, aggregates, sand and gravel, wood chip and topsoil applications. Each screen includes a large hopper with variable speed belt feeder, optional remote tipping or double deck vibrating grid, and a hydraulics system optimized for power and efficiency, according to the equipment maker.

The power pack is engineered to operate at lower engine speeds for long-term cost savings, and hybrid technology allows operation via onboard engine or external power supply, according to Finlay.

Simplified folding mechanisms and extra-wide manual catwalks enhance deployment and maintenance, while Terex T-Link telematics with a free seven-year data subscription come standard.

The 693 is equipped with a two-deck screen box featuring a 20-foot-by-5-foot top deck and an 18-foot-by-5-foot, delivering highly efficient screening even at small aggregate sizes, Finlay says.

The 694 is made with a triple-deck configuration, offering two 20-foot-by-5-foot decks on top and in the middle and an 18-foot-by-5-foot deck on the bottom. The 694 also can be equipped with a rinser screen box to increase its versatility in wet applications.

“By revisiting the original 693 and 694 naming and refining the design, Finlay delivers machines that are easier to transport, more cost effective to purchase, and aligned with current, real-world operational needs,” says Matt Dickson, Finlay’s business line director.

“This launch is part of Finlay’s ongoing commitment to product improvement and responsiveness to feedback from our distributors and customers."
