Federal Signal finalizes Mega Corp. acquisition

The signing of the definitive agreement was first announced Dec. 18, 2025.

Federal Signal Corp., an environmental and safety solutions company headquartered in Downers Grove, Illinois, has announced the completed acquisition of Mega Corp., an Albuquerque, New Mexico-based manufacturer of specialty vehicles and equipment for the metal extraction and construction markets.

The signing of the definitive agreement was previously announced on Dec. 18, 2025, with the acquisition for cash consideration of $45.5 million.

At the time of the initial agreement announcement, Jennifer L. Sherman, president and CEO, said the company anticipates “significant growth opportunities” through its product portfolio, shared customer base and global research. “We also see strong potential to leverage the power of our specialty vehicle platform, particularly across key centers of excellence such as operations and aftermarket parts and service support,” Sherman says.

Federal Signal Corp. says it expects the acquisition to be accretive to earnings and cash flow in 2026.
