EvoQuip, Dungannon, Ireland, has announced its first U.S. Open Event in Nashville, Tennessee, on Nov. 8. This exclusive event will display three new products in the company’s crushing and screening portfolio. There will be live working demonstrations of the Cobra 230R and Cobra 290 impact crushers and the Colt 1000 scalping screen, as well as the opportunity to speak to EvoQuip experts.
This event is open to everyone and gives attendees the chance to see a range of EvoQuip mobile crushing and screening equipment live in action. EvoQuip’s products can operate in reinforced concrete, recycled asphalt, construction and demolition debris, coal and natural rock applications.
“Since its introduction to the market, EvoQuip has developed significantly and is continuing to grow a strong position in the global crushing and screening industry,” Matt Dickson, product line director, says. “After a successful Open Event in the U.K. earlier this year, we are delighted to bring the event to the USA and showcase three new products in live working demos.”
The Cobra 230R builds on the success of the Cobra 230. It is a closed-circuit version that incorporates an 8-foot by 4-foot post screen designed to ensure the required product specification is achieved with oversize material either being recirculated back to the crusher or stockpiled. The ability to detach the complete after screen system, including the oversize conveyor, provides the option of either running the machine in standard mode or transporting it separately.
With throughput potential of up to 290 tons per hour, the Cobra 290 includes features such as:
- patented hydraulic overload protection system, two independent hydraulic controlled aprons, excellent clearance from the rotor to the belt;
- the short distance from the crusher outlet to the magnet; and
- the ability to hydraulically raise and lower the conveyor to ensure material flow through the machine and optional vibrating underpan feeder.
This latest addition to the EvoQuip scalping screen range is the Colt 1000. This scalping screen is designed to operate in heavy duty and precision screening applications and manage difficult materials.
The scalping screen features a 13-foot 6-inch by 4-foot double deck screen, variable screening angle with numerous screen media options, broad fines conveyor, quick set up time and discharge heights.
All EvoQuip models can be fitted with the T-Link telemetry system designed to provide the customer with real time information on the performance of their machine. Telematics maximizes uptime, parts and service availability and provides factual up to date information from the field, Evoquip says.
