EvoQuip, a Northern Ireland-based maker of compact crushing and screening equipment, has launched the Bison 220 and 220R models, the latest additions to its compact jaw crusher range.

The equipment producer, a business unit of Terex Corp., says the new Bison models have been designed to deliver exceptional performance, efficiency and versatility to serve operators in quarrying, demolition and recycling applications.

The new Bison models are engineered with a 32-inch-by-22-inch jaw inlet and a 240-megapond compressive strength.

“These jaw crushers can process tough materials with ease,” EvoQuip says.

The crushing and screening equipment maker says an advanced hydrostatic drive system maximizes fuel efficiency and enhances performance, also offering the capability to run the chamber in reverse.

The Bison 220R boasts an optional ‘R’ section (recirculating conveyor) designed to improve the ability of operators to achieve the required product specification. Oversized material can be recirculated back into the crusher or can be stockpiled, depending on operational needs. The integrated 8-foot-by-4-foot single deck screen can further boost screening efficiency.

The 220R also offers flexibility, since the after-screen system, including the oversize conveyor, can be quickly detached, allowing the machine to run in standard mode or making transport more straightforward.

Operators also can benefit from access to controls to raise and lower the product conveyor, according to EvoQuip.

“The Bison 220 and 220R combines compact design with high performance, giving operators the flexibility they need without compromising on productivity or fuel efficiency,” EvoQuip Product Manager Andrew Armstrong says. “With quick setup times, simple and intuitive operation, easy maintenance and transport-friendly design, the Bison 220/220R offers a user-friendly yet powerful solution for crushing applications worldwide."

The Bison 220 and 220R models are available to order now and potential customers can identify their local distributor through the Terex-EvoQuip website.
