ERRCO Expands

A permit modification allowing a nearly 40 percent increase in the amount of incoming C&D material that can be processed annually has been received by Environmental Resource Return Corp. (ERRCO), Epping, N.H.

The privately owned company, which has been recycling C&D material since 1995, has received the permit modification from the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services.

The change allows ERRCO to process 175,000 tons per year, up from its former limit of 128,000 tpy. According to the company, ERRCO can now go forward with plans to “further develop its operations in Epping, to enable [us] to profitably recycle a larger quantity and a broader range of construction and demolition materials.”

ERRCO has also made arrangements on the financial front to accommodate its permitted expansion. In April, the company entered into a revolving loan arrangement with a New Hampshire bank to prepare for its expansion and new infrastructure. The plan is to increase operations to achieve growth.

“We are positioning ourselves to better serve and expand our customer base, while advancing the state’s recycling goals,” says Jonathon Hixon, ERRCO vice president and a member of the board of directors of the Construction Materials Recycling Association (CMRA).
