Recycling equipment company Eriez, based in Erie, Pennsylvania, has promoted Tim Gland to director—Erie operations. Gland joined Eriez a year ago as facilities director.
Previously, Gland worked for Lord Corp., headquartered in Cleveland, as director—chemical and mechanical operations. In that role, he was responsible for multiple manufacturing facilities in North America.
In his new position as Eriez’ director—Erie operations, Gland will be responsible for all manufacturing operations at the company’s Erie, Pennsylvania, headquarters and Asbury Road plants. His duties will include overseeing the facilities’ production control, purchasing, subcontract, shipping and stores operations. Additionally, the quality assurance department will report to him. Gland will report directly to Eriez CEO Tim Shuttleworth.
A graduate of Purdue University, Gland holds a master’s degree in business administration from The Pennsylvania State University.
Eriez specializes in separation technologies, magnetic lift and separation, metal detection, materials feeding, screening, conveying and controlling equipment. The company’s products and services have applications in the process, metalworking, packaging, plastics, rubber, recycling, mining, aggregate and textile industries.
