Eriez is introducing its new RevX-E Eddy Current Separator with eccentric magnetic rotors at the ISRI 2010 show in San Diego, May 5-7. The RevX-E is geared toward purifying cullet and plastics, and recovering recyclable metal from secondary metals and incineration ash, especially the separation of small particles.
The RevX-E eddy current separator (ECS) features an eccentric magnetic rotor to allow a single point of separation, according to a press announcement.
“Now Eriez offers both an eccentric and concentric ECS, enabling customers to choose the right model for their application,” says Mike Shattuck, Eriez’s project manager, Heavy Industries. “An eccentric style ECS offers one chance of separating small particles, while a concentric model offers maximum expulsion over the whole area of the outer shell. You match the ECS model to your separation objectives”
Along with the RevX-E Eddy Current Separator, Eriez will demonstrate all major equipment at the show, including the ProSort II Airless Metal Recovery System and a piece of equipment, yet to be revealed, that will target auto shredder residue.
