Epiroc, a Stockholm, Sweden-based productivity partner for the mining and infrastructure industries, released Epiroc InSite, a telematics solution engineered to transform fleet management of hydraulic attachment tools.

The company says InSite combines advanced asset tracking with real-time data insights to empower users with control and visibility across their fleets.

InSite offers comprehensive monitoring of location, usage and maintenance needs for attachment tools, regardless of brand. Epiroc says the system utilizes one of the construction sector’s largest mesh networks, enabling seamless connectivity across more than 1.3 million devices worldwide.

Users can pinpoint exact asset locations, monitor equipment utilization and receive automated service alerts using real-time tracking. Virtual boundaries can be established around jobsites or yards using geofencing capabilities designed to help detect unauthorized movements and mitigate theft.

Epiroc says InSite also provides predictive tools that minimize downtime and provide service teams with equipment status visibility so users can proactive plan maintenance schedules.

InSite boasts an extended battery life of three to five years under typical field conditions and supports flexible system integration with most existing fleet management platforms. Epiroc says teams on the ground can benefit from real-time reporting through the mobile app and all transmitted data is secured using enterprise-grade cloud encryption protocols.
