Environmental Engineering Firm Announces New Employees

Three join staff of Dvirka and Bartilucci Consulting Engineers.

 

Nicholas J. Bartilucci, president of Dvirka and Bartilucci Consulting Engineers (D&B), Woodbury, N.Y., has recently announced the addition of three new employees to the firm.

 

Christina Mefford has joined the staff as a CAD technician. Mefford has more than 10 years of experience producing CAD drawings for many structural, civil and architectural projects. As an employee in the CAD department at D&B, Mefford will produce and edit drawings in conjunction with all the firm’s departments.

 

Steven Vastola has joined D&B has a resident engineer. Vastola brings more than 27 years of experience as a construction management professional in medium to large-scale commercial and public works projects to the firm. His primary experience is serving as the owner’s representative in the field, responsible for field operations and overall management of new construction and rehabilitation projects ranging in size up to $140 million in value. As an employee in the Wastewater Division at D&B, he will be an onsite project manager for the Bergen Point Wastewater Treatment Facility upgrade project.

 

Brian Werner has joined the firm as an environmental specialist. He will be working in the Environmental Remediation and Multimedia Compliance Division. Prior to joining D&B, Werner worked as a field chemist for Triumvirate Environmental, gaining experience in lab packing, manifesting and segregating waste according to DOT and EPA regulations. At D&B, he will be working on spill prevention and control plans, collecting and analyzing data for the environmental aspect of the sites, updating and revising plans for private and public clients.
