The courses, required by the Occupational and Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) respectively, took place at EnviroVantage's training facility at its Epping headquarters.
Wendy Johnson, an instructor with the Institute for Environmental Education (IEE), facilitated the asbestos course on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007 for twenty EnviroVantage supervisors. The eight-hour course includes a written test workers must pass to maintain their asbestos licenses in compliance with OSHA requirements.
On Friday, Dec. 28, EnviroVantage supervisors also participated in an eight-hour course on lead abatement. Vicki Shallow, a specialist with

"We avail customers and associates use of our training room for any purpose that furthers our mission of eco-friendly materials management."
