Engineering News-Record recently released its annual list of the top 400 construction contractors in the U.S. The list is based on reported 2018 revenue.
The top 10 include:
- Bechtel, Reston, Virginia
- Fluor Corp., Irving, Texas
- Turner Corp., New York City
- Aecom, Los Angeles
- The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, Baltimore
- Kiewit, Omaha, Nebraska.
- Skanska USA, New York City
- PCL Construction Enterprises Inc., Denver
- McDermott, Houston
- DPR Construction, Redwood City, California
According to the report, the companies on the list generated a record $405 billion in revenue from contracting work in 2018, which was an 8.3 percent increase year over year. Revenue from domestic projects totaled $369.15 billion, a 9.1 percent increase year over year, while foreign projects totaled $35.85 billion, a .9 percent increase year over year.
