Engcon tools available with Develon excavators

Engcon, a Sweden-based provider of Tiltrotator technology, has integrated its Tiltrotator products with two new Develon excavator models, the DX230LC-9 and DX260LC-9.

The new 9 Series excavators made by Develon, a brand of South Korea-based HD Hyundai Infracore, can be delivered Tiltrotator-ready. In the United States, Develon operates from an office and facility in Suwanee, Georgia.

The factory-installed excavator option ensures a straightforward and time-efficient installation of Engcon DC3 Tiltrotators, significantly reducing the need for complex retrofitting, according to the equipment maker, adding that the option provides an advantage to rental companies and their customers.

“Tiltrotator-ready excavators allow fleets to easily equip or interchange Tiltrotators as needed, maximizing machine flexibility and utilization while simplifying fleet management,” Engcon says. “End users renting these machines benefit from immediate access to Tiltrotator functionality, enabling higher productivity and efficiency from Day 1.”

The European firm says the partnership reflects a broader industry shift toward closer collaboration between excavator manufacturers and the Tiltorotator provider, ensuring machines are designed to deliver maximum efficiency and productivity as standard.

Engcon, which has a U.S. office in High Point, North Carolina, describes its Tiltorotator as a flexible wrist between the arm of the excavator and its attachments that enables an excavator to rotate a bucket or other attachment 360 degrees and tilt it up to 45 degrees.
