EEI-Socomec Hammers to be Assembled in U.S.

Enterprising Europa Inc. (EEI), Mahwah, N.J., the exclusive U.S. importer and general distributor of Socomec brand hydraulic construction equipment attachments, in cooperation with Socomec S.p.A., will be assembling Socomec’s total breaker line for the North American market in Mahwah, N.J., instead of Parma, Italy.

The breakers will be assembled by American labor using both U.S. and European-made components. EEI will also add a new quality control testing facility.

Future plans also include building a manufacturing plant to produce EEI-Socomec breakers entirely in the United States.
