Earth Technica Expands Product Line

Japanese-based company sees market opportunities with expanded line.

Earth Technica Co. is expanding its line of products in the civil engineering and construction recycling field to offset slower growth in its existing businesses.

The designer and vendor of crushing equipment recently released a machine that crushes paving materials at road improvement project sites and recycles it as roadbed filler. The truck-mounted machine can process 10-20 tons of asphalt an hour.

The company has also introduced a concrete and asphalt crusher as well as a unit that sorts concrete scrap, surplus soil and gravel. It is targeting annual sales of 15-20 units of each of the three new machines.

Development is under way on a crusher that can recycle concrete scrap on-site into aggregate for use in new buildings. The compact device will have a processing capacity of 5-20 tons an hour and be capable of creating high-quality aggregate.

Earth Technica hopes that the expansion of its products will raise its sales in the recycling field to more than $18 billion, compared to last year’s sales figure of $3.6 billion.
