Dynapac USA has appointed Shawn Cheney as its new business line manager for its Dynapac Road Construction Equipment. Dynapac USA is part of the Atlas Copco Group.
Cheney comes from Volvo where he held a number of management positions for the past 13 years working with distributor development as well as company-owned stores.
In a release announcing the appointment, Torbjorn Redaelli, president of Atlas Copco Construction & Mining, says, “In his professional career he (Cheney) has a proven track record of delivering results, and has been awarded a number of honors and recognitions during that time. His experience with distributors as well as store channel sales, along with his strong results-driven approach and his open and empowering management style, makes Shawn uniquely suited to fine-tune and execute our road construction business development plans, and lead the Dynapac business back to a prominent and profitable market position.”
