Doosan Announces Acquisition, New Dealer

Doosan Infracore America has announced to acquisition of Norway’s Moxy Engineering AS.

The acquisition, which includes Moxy Trucks of America, adds its line of articulated dump trucks to Doosan’s offering.

The acquisition, estimated at $81 million, is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2008.

Doosan has also announced that it has added Hamre Equipment Co. of Chico, Calif., to its network of North American dealers. Hamre serves Northern California, including Sacramento and the Napa Valley.

Hamre Equipment is run by the uncle-and-nephew team of Lee and Brian Hamre.
