Registration is now open for the 2008 Convention and Exposition of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc. (ISRI). The show takes place April 6-10 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Convention Center in
Touting the theme, “Nexxt: ISRI’s Next Twenty Years,” the convention will celebrate ISRI’s 20-year anniversary and explore the next 20 years. In addition to taking a look at how ISRI and its members have participated in the industry, attendees will examine the many issues facing it today and in the next two decades, according to an ISRI news release.
In addition to networking opportunities, the convention’s workshops and educational sessions will feature nearly three dozen topics of interest to those in the industry, including the traditional commodity spotlight sessions.
Advanced registration is available through ISRI’s online registration system at www.isriconvention.org (forms may also be downloaded for fax or mail-in registration at the Web site).
A discounted registration fee of $700 for ISRI members, their spouses and eligible guests is and $1,050 for non-members is available through February 5.
