Deffenbaugh Industries, a waste and recycling company based in Kansas City, Kan., has announced the acquisition of Roll Off Service Inc. and Advantage Recycling of Bethel Heights, Ark. The acquired company provides solid waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services to 25,000 customers in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas and Texas.
“We are committed to growing our core business of solid waste and recycling services, and Roll Off Service and Advantage fit well within the long-term business model we are pursuing,” says John King, senior vice president of operations for Deffenbaugh Industries. “Roll Off Service and Advantage have outstanding reputations, hard working employees and histories of providing safe, efficient service. We are proud to have their more than 130 employees join the Deffenbaugh Industries team.”
Along with the acquiring the company and its employees, Deffenbaugh retained Tom Smith, former president of Roll Off.
