Construction Challenge Regional Rallies Scheduled

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has scheduled the regional qualifying rallies for its annual Construction Challenge—a program now in its second year that is designed to introduce students to careers in the construction industry.

On Feb. 7, more than 230 student teams will participate in 15 regional qualifying rallies, including one in Toronto, designed to engage teens through a hands-on educational experience and introduce them to careers as engineers, equipment technicians and manufacturing professionals.

The AEM sponsors the Construction Challenge in partnership with the Destination ImagiNation nonprofit organization.

The Feb. 7 rallies are scheduled for Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, Denver, Kansas City, Mo., Minneapolis, Minn., Enid, Okla., Philadelphia, Phoenix, Sacramento, Calif., Seattle and Toronto.
