ConExpo Russia Exhibition Announced by AEM

Inaugural show to be held Sept. 15-18, 2008, in Moscow.

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has announced the formation of a new exhibition, ConExpo Russia, in response to manufacturers seeking improved opportunities to showcase their products and technologies in the growing Russian marketplace. The inaugural show will be held Sept. 15-18, 2008, in Moscow.

ConExpo Russia will focus on construction, forestry and utility equipment. The AEM is organizing ConExpo Russia in conjunction with the Exhibition and Marketing Centre, a Moscow-based exhibition organizer of DORKOMEXPO.

ConExpo Russia has the support of key government agencies, contractor groups and major manufacturers. The AEM is the North American-based trade group for off-road equipment manufacturers and it owns or co-owns several leading industry trade shows including the ConExpo-Con/Agg event.

The Russian Association of Regional Highway Administrators (RADOR) has endorsed ConExpo Russia. Russian manufacturer associations such as NEDRA are also endorsing the event, and leading contractors associations, such as the Russian Builders Union and the Russian Builders Association, will be supporting this exhibition through assistance with educational programs and promotion to their members.

Leading manufacturers already committed to exhibiting in the 2008 ConExpo Russia show include: Blount, Caterpillar, Chetra, Finval-Story Co., GOMACO, JCB, Komatsu, KOMINVEST AKMT, Manitowoc, RemTechStroy, SZLK/Astec/RoadTec, SANY, Sermac Co., Techstroykontract (Hitachi), Terex and Volvo.
