The ConExpo/Con-Agg 2008 international construction industries exposition has set an exhibit space sales record, selling more than 1.9 million net square feet of exhibit space with more than 13 months to go before the show is held March 11-15, 2008, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas.
This is the fourth consecutive time the triennial exposition has broken its previous exhibit space total, starting with the 1999 show, according to the event’s organizers.
More than 1,000 exhibitors have signed on, ranging from longtime show participants to first-time exhibitors, and from multinational firms with extensive equipment lines to small companies with specialized products.
“Attendees will find a broader array of companies and products than ever before, all in one place, making it easier to compare products capabilities and choose those that best meet their business needs,” says Megan Tanel, ConExpo/Con-Agg director.
The last ConExpo-Con/Agg, held in 2005, topped off at more than 1.88 million net square feet and was the largest trade exposition of any industry in the United States or Canada that year.
ConExpo/Con-Agg 2008 is expected to draw some 125,000 industry professionals from around the world.
