ConExpo Announces Hold on Exhibit Space Rates

Event organizers anticipate hold will help members manage budgets.

The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) has announced a hold on ConExpo-Con/Agg exhibit space rates for members to help them manage their budgets more effectively under the current difficult economic conditions and increase their trade show return on investment.

“We are an association whose sold purpose is to deliver services that position our members and the entire industry for future growth and opportunities. This hold true for all our industry-support programs, not just trade shows,” says Megan Tanel, vice president of exhibitions for AEM.

“Surveys have shown the value of marketing even in a downturn and that trades shows are one of the most cost-effective ways to reach buyers ready to make purchasing decisions. This rate hold is one way we can keep our members competitive in the marketplace,” Tanel adds.

The next ConExpo-Con/Agg will be March 22-26, 2011 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas. The show is held every three years as a gathering place for the construction and construction materials industries.
