A $21 million municipal solid waste co-composting facility that will service all of Delaware County, N.Y., has been completed in Walton, N.Y., according to a report in the Daily Star (Oneonta, N.Y.).
Jeffrey H. Heath, vice president/program manager of Conporec/S&W Services Inc., the company that designed the facility, tells the Daily Star that 70 to 75 percent of every truckload of material that is processed will be recycled.
