Chicago Pneumatic Construction adds to sales staff

Chicago Pneumatic Construction Equipment (CP), Independence, Ohio, has named Kevin Cook regional sales manager for the Western United States. Cook will manage sales in Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Alaska, Hawaii and Washington.

In his new position Cook also will be responsible for developing and maintaining channels to gain profitable market share throughout the Western region. He will work with independent sales representatives to maintain existing accounts and help to grow the company’s customer base. He will also provide product training and other support resources.

Prior to joining Chicago Pneumatic, Cook operated in the construction equipment rental industry for more than 14 years where he acquired extensive knowledge of Chicago Pneumatic’s product line.

“Having an understanding of what the CP product line stands for, how it represents itself in the industry and the equipment’s performance was an easy sell for me for this position,” says Cook. “The CP team is very knowledgeable and passionate about the product. I look forward to growing the product with them. There are plenty of opportunities in the western region and I am looking forward to the challenge.”
