Chairmen have been selected to head the show management committees of both ConExpo-Con/Agg and the International Exposition for Power Transmission (IFPE) in 2008.
Chuck Martz, president of Link-Belt Construction Equipment Co. in Lexington, Ky., has been named chairman of the ConExpo-Con/Agg 2008 exposition, which will be March 11-15, 2008, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas.
Martz has been with Link-Belt since 1975. In his role as chairman, he will lead a show management board of volunteer business executives from both the exhibitor and attendee sides.
In addition, David Anderson, president and CEO of Sauer-Danfoss in Lincolnshire, Ill., has been named chairman of the management committee for IFPE 2008, which will be collocated with ConExpo in Las Vegas, also March 11-15, 2008.
Anderson has more than 35 years in the fluid power industry and joined Sauer-Danfoss in 1984. He is also an officer of the National Fluid Power Association (NFPA), a show co-owner.
