CEMCO Inc., a third-generation, family-owned company that has established and developed vertical shaft impact (VSI) crushing technology, is celebrating its 50th anniversary. CEMCO, headquartered in Belen, N.M., started out as a repair company that specialized in rebuilding crusher rolls and jaw plates.
The company now manufactures eight crusher sizes and designs and builds conversion equipment for other crusher brands. CEMCO serves customers throughout the United States and 23 other nations.
"I remember the first days of our company where we repaired crushing and mining equipment. The tools we used were relatively primitive compared to the CNC machines, cutting and robot welding we have now,” says Neil Hise, president and owner of CEMCO Inc. “I am blessed with a team of young dynamic personnel that can build anything they put their minds to do. I am constantly amazed with the solutions and energy these good people put into producing the finest quality crushing equipment. I am proud of the accomplishments of the past and look forward to 'keeping up' with CEMCO's potential under the leadership of the third generation."
CEMCO, an ISO 9001:2008 certified company, offers engineering services, a large capacity machining operation, CNC, robotic and computer automated custom metal fabrication as well as OEM, ODM and OBM manufacturing services.
