The Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA), headquartered in Chicago, has announced that its signature annual event—formerly known as C&D World—is scheduled for Jan. 27-30, 2026, at the Saddlebrook Resort in Wesley Chapel, Florida.
The 2026 event marks the debut of the conference under its new name: CDRA Annual Conference and Tradeshow.
This rebranding aligns with CDRA’s organizational refresh, announced earlier this year, which includes an updated, modern logo and a new, interactive website.
CDRA continues its strategic focus on advancing recycling, innovation and sustainability in the construction and demolition (C&D) industry. The event’s new name reflects this evolution while continuing the legacy of C&D World as the industry’s premier gathering dedicated to C&D recycling professionals.
“The name ‘C&D World’ served us well for many years, but with the association’s refreshed identity, it was time for a name that clearly connects our flagship event with the CDRA brand,” says John Thomas, CDRA board president. “The CDRA Annual Conference and Tradeshow not only reflects who we are today but where our vision sees our association going for years to come.”
The 2026 conference will be at the Saddlebrook Resort, a top-tier venue in the heart of Florida. Known for its exceptional hospitality, world-class golf and scenic surroundings, the resort offers a relaxed yet professional setting for networking, education and exploring the latest technologies and services during the three-day CDRA Annual Conference and Tradeshow.
What attendees can expect in 2026:
- an engaging keynote presentation focused on workforce management, training and development;
- in-depth sessions on C&D recycling innovations, including new recycling technologies and processes, as well as presentations highlighting best practices within the C&D recycling industry;
- a tradeshow floor featuring the latest equipment and services;
- ample networking opportunities such as receptions, CDRA’s annual fundraising event and resort activities; and
- deep registration discounts for CDRA members and their guests.
