The Construction & Demolition Recycling Association (CDRA) has released guidelines to help construction and demolition (C&D) recyclers create end markets for incoming waste materials.
Material in the waste stream has nuances that must be evaluated when considering its ability to be recycled. The CDRA’s guidance is meant to help provide a general overview of what recyclers should factor in when weighing potential end markets for a given material.
New Product Development From Construction/Demolition Debris is part of the CDRA’s efforts to respond to the industry’s need for finding end markets for incoming materials. The End Markets Development Committee, which was formed to help provide guidance to industry participants, is also working with the University of Florida to develop end markets for C&D wood and C&D fines. The results from these studies will be released in 2021.
New Product Development From Construction/Demolition Debris is free to CDRA members and can be downloaded directly from the organization’s website.
