CDE Global, a wet processing equipment manufacturer headquartered in Cookstown, Northern Ireland, unveiled what it calls its “intelligent plant” and “next generation technology” and Combo, an all-in-one wet processing system solution, at Bauma April 8-11 in Munich, Germany.
CDE says its technology uses artificial intelligence (AI) to monitor and automate previously manual processes to “boost productivity.”
“We are constantly striving for innovations to help customers maximize output with minimum effort,” says Tom Houston, CDE director of customer care.
The OptiMax technology uses automation and sensors to monitor and enhance productivity, minimize downtime, automate processes and lower operating costs while maximizing profitability, CDE says.
CDE’s Combo system encompasses feeding, sizing, sand washing, stockpiling and a complete integrated water management system, “an important innovation to address a challenge faced by all customers of wet processing systems,” the company says.
The Combo system can “process a wide range of feed materials” and “produce up to two in-spec products from natural sand or crushed rock.” The system arrives on-site in a single unit, built for rapid assembly and set up to start processing material within days of arrival, CDE says.
“The Combo is no ordinary machine, but rather a technological response to the challenges faced by materials producers,” CDE COO Sean Kerr says. “It has been designed with a focus on transferring greater reliability and efficiency benefits to customers. Offering a turnkey solution that delivers unrivaled control of in-spec washed products from a wide range of feed materials, the Combo can be used in the construction, C&D waste recycling, industrial sands, mining and environmental sectors.”
