United Kingdom-based CDE, which has United States offices in Cleburne, Texas, has announced plans to host a virtual symposium Oct. 14-15. The company, which bills itself as a leading manufacturer of wet processing equipment, says the event’s programming will focus on techniques to process sand and aggregates, construction and demolition materials for recycling, industrial sands, mining materials and wastewater.

Registration is free, according to the company. Adds CDE, “Across the two days, CDE experts, together with a host of guests and industry figures, will facilitate a series of dynamic, educational, and informative presentations and panel discussions covering multiple sectors.”

Hosted live, the discussions will occur in different rooms and stages, aligned to different time zones and in applicable languages for various market regions.

“Interactive Q&As will conclude each session and breakaway networking chat rooms will offer attendees with the opportunity to discuss the insights and connect with leading industry experts,” states CDE.

Exploring the topic of construction, demolition and excavation (CD&E) materials recycling, CDE’s Eunan Kelly will lead discussions about the role of CD&E materials in the sustainable city agenda, as well as a technical review of the CD&E materials recycling process, an appraisal of the end markets, and a review of legislation for the use of CD&E recycled materials.

“In these unique and challenging times there are many restrictions that have prevented CDE, our customers, and others in materials processing from coming together at industry events to discuss the prevalent issues of the day and latest technological advances,” says Tony Convery, managing director at CDE. “This is why we’re excited to announce our two-day Engineering Insights program as a way to bring the insights to the industry and our customers, wherever they are based.

Although there is no cost to register, the number of participants will be limited for some of the roundtable and seminar sessions. More information about the event, including how to register, can be found on this web page.
