The Southeast Construction and Demolition Recycling Conference, sponsored by the Carolina Recycling Association, will be held Dec. 7-9, 2010, in Charlotte, N.C.
The three-day program covers a range of topics for contractors, architects and developers; local governments; recycling service providers; and equipment and services suppliers.
The program includes the following tracks:
• Local government programs and incentives for C&D Recycling;
• Commercial and residential green building programs and the role of recycling, reuse and sustainable materials;
• Cost savings opportunities: How to plan for collection, recycling and reuse;
• Equipment for C&D processors and landfill operators;
• Design and build for disassembly, rightsizing to reduce waste and sustainable material sourcing;
• Niche materials for recycling; and
• Markets for recycled materials
The conference also includes facility tours, a keynote address and an exhibit hall of equipment and services for the C&D recycling industry.
