The CBI and Terex Ecotec brands of Terex Corp. have expanded the distribution territory of their distributor Columbus Equipment Co. into western Pennsylvania for both brands.
The recycling and processing equipment makers say the expansion follows an “exceptional performance and a proven commitment to customer success” by Columbus Equipment.
Thanks to the new arrangement, Columbus Equipment now represents CBI and Terex Ecotec in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky and the western two-thirds of Pennsylvania.
Columbus Equipment became an authorized Terex Ecotec distributor in 2019 and added the CBI product line in 2021, “quickly developing a strong reputation for offering world-class environmental brands and dependable customer service,” Terex says.
“Columbus Equipment Co. is proud to expand our representation of the CBI and Terex Ecotec brands into western Pennsylvania,” says Mark DiSalvo, vice president of the Material Processing business unit of the Ohio-based firm. “The addition of these product lines has allowed us to serve customers in wood processing, recycling, land clearing, demolition and organic waste management with a full suite of solutions, including high-speed grinders, chippers, shredders, trommel screens, conveyors and more.
“Both brands feature best-in-class products and are backed by innovative, responsive factory support—a perfect match for our commitment to delivering premium solutions and services. We’re excited to bring our proven expertise and customer-first approach to this new territory.”
Terex describes Columbus Equipment as having “set a new standard for excellence, delivering outstanding support, expert knowledge and consistent investment,” and Columbus Equipment was awarded CBI’s 2024 Dealer of the Year title.
“We’ve been incredibly impressed by how quickly Columbus Equipment has embraced the CBI and Terex Ecotec lines, investing in the success of our customers every step of the way,” CBI General Manager Nate Fuller says. “Their ‘no surprises, no excuses’ philosophy aligns with our mission to support customers with reliable equipment, backed by dependable service, and we look forward to seeing their continued success in Western Pennsylvania."
Columbus Equipment’s expanded territory agreement is effective immediately and includes sales, service and parts support for CBI grinding and chipping equipment and Terex Ecotec shredders, screens, windrow turners and material handlers.
