Caterpillar Inc., Peoria, Ill., has introduced the H65Ds hydraulic hammer—the company’s largest hammer option for compact equipment users.
The H65Ds is sized for use with all Cat skid steer and multi terrain loaders, as well as the following mini hydraulic excavators: 303.5C, 303C CR, 304C CR and 305C CR. The hammer is also compatible with the Caterpillar pin grabber quick coupler system.
The hammer has a working weight of 597 pounds and offers an impact frequency of 700 to 2,000 blows per minute. It accepts oil flow of 11 to 28 gpm and operates at 2,466 psi.
The H65Ds also has enclosed housing to protect the power cell, eliminate side plate bolts and reduce noise levels and a one-piece body designed to eliminate tie rods.
